This notice explains, in plain language, how SavvyTank handles information submitted through this emerging platform and its website. Questions can be sent to hello@savvytank.com.
The short version
We use your information to continue the conversation you started.
We collect information you choose to provide through contact and application forms. We use submissions to evaluate and respond to inquiries, operate the website, and communicate about the conversation you initiated.
We do not sell submitted information. We retain it only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and applicable obligations.
What we receive
Only what helps a useful conversation begin.
Depending on the form, you may choose to share your name, email, company information, role, website, message, or materials. Do not submit confidential information that you do not want reviewed.
Forms
Used to receive contact requests, founder applications, and other messages you intentionally send.
Operations
Basic technical or usage information may be processed to keep the site secure, available, and understandable.
Communications
We may use your contact details to reply to you or send operational messages connected to a conversation you initiated.
Optional analytics
Analytics only with your permission.
If you select “Accept analytics,” we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand traffic, clicks, scrolling, and general session behavior. This helps us see aggregate patterns, which pages and links are useful, and where the site may be difficult to use.
When accepted, these services may process technical information such as browser and device details, page paths, approximate location derived from an IP address, and analytics or session identifiers. Google Analytics 4 may set _ga and _ga_ZRKYJ2J18E cookies. Microsoft Clarity may set _clck and _clsk cookies. SavvyTank masks or excludes forms, inputs, messages, email addresses, and phone areas from Clarity recordings, and does not intentionally send names, contact details, form values, or free text as analytics events.
For consenting visits, Google Analytics receives limited source labels from recognised search, AI, and social referrers or approved campaign links. We send only a recognised referring origin, never its full path or query, and accept campaign values only from a fixed list. Unknown sources are omitted or grouped as direct; this means source reporting is intentionally incomplete. We do not send arbitrary URL query strings or fragments as Google Analytics page locations.
The hosting platform may independently process limited request logs and technical identifiers needed to deliver, secure, and operate the site. Those platform-managed records are not SavvyTank analytics and are governed by the hosting provider’s controls. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity do not load before you accept. We do not use them for advertising, remarketing, Google Signals, cross-site tracking, or personalised ads. Microsoft advertising storage is denied, and the site’s security policy blocks Bing cookie synchronization.
For crawler diagnostics, our application records recognised bot-name claims on public discovery and indexable page routes, response status, and duration. These limited records exclude IP addresses, full user agents, queries, cookies, and form data. A bot-name claim is not proof of the requester's identity.
Your choice is saved in local storage on your device. Select “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to review your choice or withdraw permission. Withdrawing stops new analytics initialization and removes the GA4 and Clarity cookies that this site can access and delete; it does not control operational records managed by the hosting platform. Selecting “Essential only” prevents analytics from loading on later page views.

Your choices
You can ask, correct, delete, or opt out.
You may ask what information we hold about a conversation, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop a non-essential communication by emailing hello@savvytank.com. We may retain limited records where reasonably needed for an ongoing interaction or applicable obligations.
